Gears of War Review

The game developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was initially released as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 in November 2006 in North America, Australia, and most of Europe. It focuses on the troops of Delta Squad as they fight a desperate, last-ditch attempt to save the remaining human inhabitants of the fictional planet Sera from a relentless and virtually unstoppable subterranean enemy known as the Locust Horde. The player assumes the role of Marcus Fenix, a former prisoner and war-hardened soldier. The game is based on the use of cover and strategic fire for the player to advance through the scenarios; a second player can play cooperatively through the main campaign to assist. The game also features several online multiplayer game modes for up to eight players.

Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle

© YouTube & IGN.com

I remember watching Saint Saiya, also known as Knights of the Zodiac in the US, when I was younger.  Only a couple of things that I remember from the show was that it was on Toonami and one move; PEGASUS METEOR PUNCH!!!  After watching this trailer for the new game Saint Seiya:  Sanctuary Battle, it reminded me of the show.  The gameplay and graphics looks amazing in my eyes, but I had 1 issue with the trailer.  Where is Seiya at?  He only appears towards the end of the trailer.  It's a little nit-picking, but Namco Bandi has a great anime on its hands, and lets hope that they do well with it in game form.  Saint Seiya:  Sanctuary Battle does not have a release date, but it will be out exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

3DS Games for 2012

Samantha here, there are some upcoming 3DS games that I am psyched about (even though I don't own a 3DS, but its always good to dream).

Quite frankly, this video game looks really cheesy.   The animation and the flow of the characters are slow and the video game seems very child like, but all these factors is what makes Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure such a fantastic game.  Just looking at the trailer amuses me.  Just thinking about their big boggle heads, the animated scenes, and their cheesy dance moves, always seem to bring a smile to my face.  I can't wait to try this game out.  It bring me back to Playstation's Bust a Groove. Available April 30th in the USA

Animal Crossing!!  You can never go wrong with Animal Crossing!! It's one of those video games that you buy because you played the previous ones.  This game is pretty laid back for me, but its a fantastic way to past the time if I am bored.  I won't cry if I don't invest in this video game, but it would be nice to have it.

Annd the one of the very few video games I do plan on buying is Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. So apparently, this video game connects Kingdom Hearts: Coded, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Out of all of the Kingdom Hearts fillers, I look forward to this one the most.  I'm barely getting through Birth by Sleep sadly. I just want Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out and then I can play the rest of the fillers because I don't find any of them interesting at the moment.

There's a possibility that Professor Layton vs, Ace Attorney might be coming out this year.  I would love for it to come out this year, but the US might have to wait till next year.  This game will definitely be interesting.  I finished almost all of the Ace Attorney games, and are working on the Professor Layton ones.  Hopefully, this video game will be an exciting one.

Assassin's Creed 3 Debut Trailer Revealed

Hey gamers, Chris_sez here with an amazing update on Assassin's Creed III.  The debut trailer was released around 12 noon by IGN, and it looks epic.  I do like how the unknown hero uses tomahawks, bows and arrows, and even an enemy's gun to take out enemies.  Hopping from tree to tree to me was very ninja like (thank you Naruto), but it definitely fits the Assassin's Creed motif.  It makes me wonder one particular thing; Who side is this guy on?  It's probably an unnecessary question, but that's just me.  Be prepared to jump into the American Revolution in Assassin's Creed III on October 30, 2012.  The game will be released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC.

The Year of Resident Evil

Samantha here, I am so excited for the upcoming games Capcom is coming out for Resident Evil this year.  I am totally excited for this upcoming year and can't wait to get every single last one of them.

First and foremost, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield returns in Resident Evil: Revelations for the Nintendo 3DS. This video game explains what happens between Resident Evil 4 and 5. A new BSAA member, Parker Luciani, is also introduced. Jill and her new partner, Parker Luciani, is sent on an abandoned cruise ship in search of Chris Redfield, based on his last GPS coordinates. Sadly, I don't have a 3DS currently, but I do plan on buying it, just so I can play Resident Evil: Revelations (and other video games, of course).

Secondly, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is another video game to get excited over! This trailer is total bada**!! Honestly, I have no idea what's going on in this video, but I can't wait to play the game in order to figure it out. In this video game, one of our favorites return, Leon S. Kennedy. This video game takes place around the time of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The fascinating part of this game is that players can play two different roles. They can either play as the Umbrella Security Service (USS) members or the United States Special Operations force. The Umbrella Security Service is trying to destroy any evidence of Umbrella's illegal activities and anyone who survive, while the United States Special Operations Force is trying to expose the company. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City comes out in America, March 20th. The wait is already killing me!! It will be available for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

Lastly, Resident Evil 6 is coming out November 20th (Just in time for Christmas and Black Friday). In this story, Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield returns in order to fight off even more zombies. The President decided to reveal the truth about the bioterrorist attacks, in high hopes that it will slowly dwindle down if the people knew of it. Sadly, the president transforms and Leon is left with the ultimate decision to kill him. On the other hand, Chris lands in China and tries to control the situation over there. The world is slowly being consumed with these attacks, which makes people start to wonder about the fate of humanity.

There's more!! I haven't heard much this year, but supposedly there is an animated movie coming out this year: Resident Evil Damnation. It features Leon S. Kennedy and it's in 3D!! Not only that, but the film makers are thinking about making a live action one too (I assume a live action version that's focus more on the video game characters).

Wow that is a lot of Resident Evil in a nutshell. Can't wait to play/see all of them. Gotta go finish playing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep now.
