Bungie and Minecraft Go Against SOPA Bill

We as gamers need to make sure this bill doesn't pass!
Word about the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) has spread throughout the gaming universe.  It has even caused the shut down of the Fireball beta.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!  Bungie, the company that created the Halo series, and Markus Persson, head of Mojang studios which is known for Minecraft, have spoke up about this issue.

Persson stated on Twitter on January 13, that Minecraft will be offline on January 18 and that the blackout will last for an unknown amount of time.  If you previously downloaded the game, you will be able to play; the internet version will not be accessible.  On Bungie's side, they said that if the bill was passed, it would "negatively impact both the games we make and the people who play them."  Bungie is also asking gamers to read the actual bill for further education on it.

Gears of War 3 Review

If you're into shooters but the ones you've played don't have enough blood & gore... I feel bad for you, I mean you should check this out. Gears of War 3 was released September 20, 2011, rated M for mature. Developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft Studios exclusively for the Xbox 360. This game is completely high-def and 3D compatible, you can kick butt alone or with up to 10 people on Xbox live. Gears 3 is way different from its predecessors by letting you play as the Locust(the bad guys), and with more weapons than before.

Sonic Spinball Review

During the majority of 1993, there were no main Sonic games.  There were games for the SEGA Game Gear, but we're not talking about those today.  Near the end of 1993, SEGA came out with Sonic Spinball for the Genesis/Mega Drive.  Even though this game was not part of the main story of Sonic, it was still fun to keep that need for speed.  However, this game is infamous for difficulty and control.  How does this game stand against DirectGamers?  Lets find out; this is our review of Sonic Spinball for the SEGA Genesis/Megadrive.

Skate 3 Review

Skate 3 Review

If you are into skateboarding, then you will enjoy playing Skate 3 on your Xbox 360 or Play Station 3. This game is rated T for teenagers. Although skate 3 is obviously a skateboarding video game, it is not at all connected to the Tony Hawk franchise. This interesting game takes skating to a whole different level as you skate you’re way through the college or grind you’re way through the city streets. The controls are way different as the game makes skating more real than in the Tony Hawk series. There are some features within the game that lets you create your own skate park and you can form your own team of average skate boarders. It allows up to 6 people to play and it allows you to save information. Will this game make you want to play for hours and hours? Here is the review for Skate 3.
