Greeting Everyone,
We're finally coming out of the cave to the outside world. Where to you ask? Well, Nina (maybe) and I from DirectGamers will be at TooManyGames 2014! If you are in the Pennsylvania area, more specifically in Oaks, Pa., come down on June 28th to TooManyGames to meet us. We'll be around with friends checking out the games, buying gaming apparel, going to panels, and playing in the SSBB Project M tournament. I'll hopefully see Andy from HorrorGuitar90 and Johnny, Matt, and Elliot from the Super Gaming Bros. and Somecallmejohnny. Hopefully we will see you all, get some pictures, and have a grand ol' time. You still have time to purchase your tickets online, and you can purchase your tickets at the door as well (hint: we'll be in line). If you're there for all three days or just for one day, let's make it fun! See you there! For more information on TooManyGames, check out their website here.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie SEGA Genesis Review
The 90s were the Power Rangers' throne. They had children engulfed into the phenomenon, parents enjoyed it, and they taught important life values such as friendship, teamwork, and self-defense. So, how do you get higher when you're on top of that genre? It's rather easy: Make a movie. They did just that and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie came out in the summer of 1995. Of course with a movie are movie based video games, and MMPR: The Movie was no exception with four titles, each one different from one another. Is the power on in this game, or does Ivan Ooze make this game terrible like the Brady Bunch reunion (ha, movie reference)? Let's power up for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive.

Is the Last of Us a story worth telling?
The Last of Us is a survival game developed by Naughty Dog. With Naughty Dog being the developers of beloved games such as Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted, it goes without saying that the bar is set pretty high for this game. So the only question that remains if this game lives of to the standards set by Naughty Dog or does it miss the mark?

Is raiding this tomb as fun as the original?
Tomb Raider is a reboot developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. If you were born in the 1990’s, you might know Crystal Dynamics for Gex or Legacy of Kain. If you were born after that, you might know them from a few other Tomb Raider games. This Tomb Raider game however is meant to go back to the games roots and show the origin story of our protagonist, Laura Croft. Does is it come to par or the fate of the game doomed to be lost at sea like her? Let’s find out.

The Infinite Stories of Bioshock
Bioshock Infinite was made by Irrational Games, the
same studio that made the first Bioshock. Having never played Bioshock 1 or 2,
I was a little hesitant to purchase this. Regardless I decided to take a leap
of faith and give this game a chance, despite my reservations about its
predecessors. Did the leap pay off or was it a waste of money? Let’s find out
in my review.
Super Mario World Review
I want everyone to think about the '90 for a moment. Back then, games were jumping into a new type of technology, which lead to the Great Bit Wars. This caused lots of competition between companies. Furthermore, one of gaming's greatest rivalries was created, which was SEGA V.S. Nintendo. Even to this day, people still debate whether the SEGA Genesis was better than the Super Nintendo and vice-versa. As SEGA emerged with Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis, Nintendo decided to let their mascot Mario step up to the 16-bit plate and prove SEGA's famous phrase, "SEGA does what Nintendon't" wrong. This is Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo. This game was released on November 21, 1990 for Japan, August 13, 1991 for the United States, and April 11, 1992 for Europe.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Review

Call
of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 review
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an
entertaining shooter game for the Xbox 360 counsel and it is rated M for
mature. A significant sequel to the previous modern warfare games, Modern
Warfare 3 carries the epic storyline throughout the series leading up to the tremendous
battle between the nations. Since the game is obviously all about warfare, you
need to play as soldiers from different areas that all have one objective: defeat
the bas**rd named Makarov of Russia. In order to achieve the objective, you
must dodge bullets and sneak through enemy lines to defend the objective.
